Allhands group provides a unique package of support and care 24 hours a day 365 days a year, for vulnerable young people. Our purpose is to provide a warm welcoming, nurturing, and stable environment to all our young people. This is designed to positively promote the wellbeing and safety of our young people. Colleridge house is provides medium to long term placement. Emergency Admissions can also be accepted on a pre-planned basis.

We aim to provide young people with the kind of parental support and attention they may have missed, to help them learn about being human, how to understand their emotions and how to better handle the consequences of those emotions.

Management

The Management Team will actively support staff team members in their day-to-day tasks through ongoing training, supervision, and appraisal. The team will receive the best training opportunities possible for them to provide the best care.

Support

Our services would be supportive to children and young people who have emotional and behavioural difficulties due to the trauma they have suffered in their childhood. This includes attachment, disassociation and those who need a period of stabilisation in a therapeutic environment with sole focus on them. The home looks to create a safe environment using relationships to support the child to grow.

Outcomes

Our aim is to help young persons with support to maintain existing relationships with family, friends, social workers and therapists where appropriate. New strategies for managing their emotions and feelings/self and co-regulating skills improved Improved engagement with education and extra-curricular activities For young people to feel safe and listened to Moving into group and family settings.
